Multiple Bluetooth inputs?

Hello!

I'm considering buying into the wiim system for my desktop. I wondered if it was possible to connect two different bluetooth/airplay inputs and use them simultaneously. The use case here would be to connect my macbook and ipad at the same time and send signals from both devices. That way both devices could be used, but I wouldn't need to do any input switching. This might be a silly question, but the answer doesn't seem obvious to me.
