Music scratches / TIDAL Max

Hello community.

I'm currently running a Wiim Pro Plus on a Rotel A11 amplifier. I listen to music on Tidal. On a new album by Peter Gabriel, where the playback quality is specified as MAX, there is distortion that becomes noticeable as loud scratching in the speaker. I also noticed this with other songs in MAX quality.

Can someone tell me what could be causing this?

I use the optical output but same problem with analog.

Now I have erased all apps and reinstall them.

When I play from TIDAL using TIDAL Connect its the same problem from PC app and Android App.

When I chose the playlist from WiiM Home libary it works fine but the resolution Change from MAX to High.

If the maximum resolution playing through the WiiM Home app is different from the resolution in the Tidal desktop application of Android app you need to edit your Tidal profile inside the WiiM Home app and change the quazsetting to MAX there. If you really want that.

I have no idea why MAX titles don't play for you.
