Needing to power off and on Ultra to enable sound out

I am finding that occasionally I need to power cycle my Wiim Ultra when changing inputs from HDMI to Optical input but using same optical out. Every thing appears to be working even after switching but when the input is switched there is no sound coming out. After the power cycle music starts playing immediately by itself... This happens more often than I would like....

I have the same problem with optical in
I would submit a call with the logs via feedback in the app before the reboot
