..... new amp for ultra

I have had an Ultra for two weeks now and was also searching for a suitable amplifier. It turns out that here in the Netherlands a company had the idea to make a suitable amplifier for the Ultra and it was introduced last week. I ordered it immediately and expect to receive it at the end of this week.

They cost £42 here found some English Mullard tubes at half that price gonna give the a whirl
I only paid £40 for the preamp

You get the choice between Hypex NCore NC252MP (250 watts into 4 ohms) or the NC122MP (125 watts into 4 ohms).They do silver or space grey, and they'll even do XLR instead of RCA for an extra 10 euros, or both for an extra 50 euros.

I am sorely tempted. Looks awesome, and you get cutting edge amplifier tech inside. Somebody talk me out of it .

I just ordered one. Company is based near the place I spent my student years. Was very surprised to find out that it was a small Dutch company. The owner responded quickly to my mails and given the good contact and the reviews online I decided to go ahead. Will receive it next week. If somebody is interested I could share my first experiences.

By all means, but if you do a forum search I believe you’ll find user comments and experience of that amp, including those from @EddNog iirc
