New construction with 9 zones - Is Wiim a good choice?

Hello.
I hope if someone can help me to decide if WiiM or which WiiM is good choice for me. I have 9 zones in new construction. I will be using Spotify most of the time to listen to music. Is it a good idea to buy 9 WiiM devices for set up or should I go with one that has multi-zone amp? Is WiiM mini good enough for background music? Thank you in advance.

Firstly I want to correct it was the A2M mini

Secondly. I have good luck with Emotiva in the past so there was some brand loyalty.

A/B verses D yes for sure. I hoped (as one really never knows) that it would sound better.

But the main aspects were.

Very flexible, variable or fixed.

Trigger In and Out (I hate leaving equipment on when not playing, and also hate running around and turning things on/off. The trigger works so well as power on/off).

It was also the same width of the Ultra so it sits under my ultra for simple aesthetics.

My biggest reason is you can call EMOTIVA and they answer the phone and help. A lost art in much of the tech world today.

I hope that helps

I actually now have nine wiim Ultras
Each of them have an emotiva amp
Each of them have Philharmonic speakers
Each of the rooms are connected via Ethernet.
We have started using the Roon software for controlling the devices and it's working perfectly.

I am sure for many people this seems overly complicated but I love the idea of picking the right speaker size for the rooms I like making sure that if something breaks I only have to replace the part that breaks not the entire box.

Easier for diagnosing and easier for management.

Can you advise me on the Emotiva a2m you have?
Would they drive a pair of speakers that are 84db sensitivity
Thinking about getting a pair of quad z2 to go with my setup

They have a large selection.
I started with the Basx2m for my smaller speakers. Got a bigger amp for the bigger speakers.

You need to pick the right size amp for speakers, and expected loudness and such.

Yeah but I have limited space may go with quad s2 instead and save money

Just following up on this thread with the Emotiva amp questions:
I also am running one of my zones with an Emotiva Basx amp, in my case the A4 4-channel amp to drive 4 in-ceiling speakers. This is my first Emotiva product, and I will say that thus far (with a few months of ownership), it has functioned flawlessly, with a reliable power on trigger, and a very satisfying sound. It also runs very cool. Note that with the exception of the A2M, the Basx amplifier line is just power amps -- you need to use your WiiM device as a pre-amp and volume control.
I chose the Emotiva A4 due to price, brand reputation, and my old-school sensibilities still need time and first-hand exposure to get on the class D bandwagon ;)

Quite to the contrary, this seems the most simple and straightforward approach to me. You'll never have to guess is you're plugging the correct WiiM streamer into the proper input plugs and the correct speaker cables into the proper speaker output plugs in a multichannel amp! Single stack of equipment for each room. If I only had space for in-room, as opposed to in-wall speakers.

For the most part, I also have each room's equipment in each room; the only exception is the back porch's Amp is next to the living TV's Amp in the cabinet below the TV because that's where the speaker wire for the back porch runs. When I left Sonos, I started to separate out speakers from amps/pre-amps so that I at least don't have to go through the whole system replacement again if WiiM happens to go through the same fate as Sonos 10 years down the road.
