I'm sure there's some way I can order..?
Not unless you’re a custom installation company (or know one) I’d imagine. Also, when you look at the spec, it’s pretty much a WiiM amp, WiFi/BT version aside which means it probably won’t support airplay. And it has a different form factor.

See https://www.wiimhome.com/wiimultra/overview

If I were you, I’d grab a few WiiM Amps while they’re in sale for Black Friday…

Edit: I guess the other differences are its support for control platforms like Control 4, RTI, URC and Josh.ai, which might suggest a different firmware.

Well I am an integrator, but for business networks. I'm sure that's good enough for a B2B sale.

The form factor is why I want it - it would go neatly into a rack and the ventilation would be correct. I'm not interested in the normal WiiM amp for this application.

In that case, you might want to try contacting WiiM directly or the named distributor if you’re in the UK. I think it was Origin who were mentioned for the USA.

Hi, I am new to this forum but am waiting on my first WiiM product, the Amp Pro. I am also in the process of a home renovation and stumbled upon this announcement a while back and have been waiting to hear more: https://www.hifichoice.com/content/coming-soon-wiim-ci-mod-a80-streaming-amp-and-ci-mod-s-streamer

This would be ideal for the in-ceiling speaker setup I'm doing in a few rooms so I would love to get an update on the progress of these amps!
You can order it but through a CI Dealer. We are a dealer and these units were just released. There is no other way to get these units. If you have any questions as if I can help you with some info, we would like to assist.

From Audiophonics website :

Audiophonics pre-sells the WiiM CI MOD A80 at 549 €.
For Apple users, it's suppose to support Airplay 2.

I believe the inclusion of AirPlay 2 comes from an outdated spec sheet. I think the mention of BT5.3 and WiFi 6 suggests the new linkplay module that doesn’t support AirPlay.

Audiophonics have a track record of getting things wrong in my experience. Here’s a more recent link where Airplay 2 is not mentioned.

Someone asked about this at the start of the month and I suggested they contact WiiM directly. They didn’t come back to say what WiiM said.

I’d therefore advise anyone thinking of getting one of these to similarly contact WiiM directly.

It still uses the old DAC from the WiiM Amp and there's no hint towards PFFB.

AirPlay support is directly tied to the Linkplay streaming module (also responsible for BT and Wi-Fi), so the presence of Wi-Fi 6 and BT 5.3 should rule out support for AirPlay.

So, my guess is now WiiM Amp, but with updated streaming module.

Fair points, comme d’hab :)
