Newbie help please

I'm trying to see if I'm missing something here. One (of the many) feature I want to use is playing from my windows music folder. Have it set up, and was discouraged to see that choosing Genre, then my chosen genre, list Songs? Not Album Artist, then Albums. (And no, I don't want to start at Album Artist, I have 8 genres and maybe 7,000 albums).
Am I missing something? Thanks for any help!

Yes you are missing the fact that playing from folders isn't currently supported - its on the roadmap.
You need to install some kind of UPnP server on your PC and point it at the music files.

Try Minimserver or Asset
