No control of the player is possible with USB out

For BT transmission to my headphones with aptX HD, I use the BT-W6 transmitter from Creative on the USB output.
It is possible to change the volume from the WiiM Ultra with the headphones, but pause/play or skip does not work with the buttons on the headphones.
Will this be possible in the future?

I’d doubt it as those actions won’t be passed back over the usb connection, and it’ll more likely be that it’s the transmitter’s volume that’s being changed, not the wiim’s, again for the same reason.

The WiiM display shows the volume screen when changing the volume on the headphones. When I use the BT-W6 with my Android tablet, complete control is possible via the headphones.
