Hi everyone.

I have a Wiim Pro

I use the WHA for listening to music (obviously).
But I also use it to listen to audiobooks/radioplays - which tend to be single Flac files longer than 30 mins in duration
So for audiobooks, if I get interrupted by something, I come back to it later and resume where I left off

But when I have ReplayGain switched on, and the I resume where I left off, no sound can be heard.
The track 'duration' counter is advancing, showing the file is playing.
But there is no sound

If I go back and switch the ReplayGain Off - and then resume where I left off, when there is no problem i.e I can hear sound

So I think there might be a bug when you do a file seek to a position other than 0:00 when ReplayGain is on

I have raised the ticket with the lovely folk at Wiim - but I mention it here in case other people have encountered it
I reckon most people don't encounter it because thy have little need for file seek
But I do this often as I listen to single-file audiobooks

Example of a single-file audiobook attached
Its one FLAC file so "file seeking" is a regular thing for me

Good catch. It might be worth testing this with other WiiM devices, too.

One question: When you say Home Music Share, are you referring to a media server running on your NAS or a RasPi or something? Or are you just pointing the WHA to a dumb file share, so the WHA has to do the indexing?

Hi @harkpabst yes I have a DLNA media server that comes out my router. So router does indexing.

I also have a Wiim mini and it had the same issue. Tho the behaviour of the mini was a bit more stranger because when I went to switch replaygain Off, then replaygain menu was not there. Instead the menu only displayed "Cancel" and nothing else. I didn't mention this on the Wiim ticket as wiim pro is what I mainly use. I will raise it later
