We have per-source volume control (and would appreciate per-output volume control, esp. for the Ultra's headphone output!), but how about per-source screen control.
When I'm using optical or hdmi in I particularly dislike the current display.
Ideally I'd like to be able to set the display to go off when using those inputs, but be on when streaming.

Agreed

Couldn't have said it better myself. Agreed!

Right when watching TV I want the screen to be off to avoid light pollution with the WiiM sitting right below the TV.

Very much needed functionality. I'm just waiting to use it. I would like to be able to use the sound intensity display for HDMI, and the songs cover for Tidal streaming. Currently, I have to choose one for all sources…

Another +1 here. I like the option of using the VU meter specifically when I'm playing vinyl via phono input.

But I then need to make a manual change to my preferred "What's Playing" screen whenever streaming..
