Sometimes when I launch wiim home tv (on android tv device), it displays the wiim that's not playing anything instead of the one that's playing. It would be nice if it picked the first or only one that's playing.
Yes, or possibly to allow a default one to be chosen for app startup.
I'd imagine most people have a single (or at least main / primary) wiim in the same room as the tv.
Or does it remember the last one chosen? I honestly can't remember!

I'm not entirely sure, but I suspect the app's cache is involved.
My listening room has a Google TV dedicated solely to the WiiM TV app, and I shut it down using a Smart plug when not in use.
When I play music via Alexa, the TV powers on and launches the WiiM TV app. Using this method, the app always displays the WiiM device currently playing. (I suspect this is because the TV powering off causes the Google OS to reboot, which also clears the app's cache.)
If possible, rebooting your Android TV device at a fixed time each day or using an external app to clear the WiiM TV app cache may resolve the issue.
You might be able to reboot your Android TV streamer at any time using the Google Home app's automation feature. I don't have a streamer myself, so I can't check this, but if you're interested, give it a try.
