Please Please!! add a power button to the WiiM Home App (Like the red button in the physical remote control)

Yes, that would be nice.
When I use the iPeng app to play from LMS I can use its on/off button to switch the Ultra off, so I guess it’s not impossible to implement.

It does not turn it off. It just go to standby. For the WiiM Ultra it also turn the screen of but that's all.

Most tech with remotes or network connection just go into Standby. Most still call that "OFF".
Anything connected to the Trigger output will also turn off immediately. This is how "OFF" should work... Not the "I'll turn off when I'm good n ready!" that we have now.

I did not say anything about not having a way to go to standby immediately. Just that it is not an "power off" button.

You can control the streamer via the app, the unit itself, or the remote. Only one of these has a power button.

They go to standby after a minute or two. My two subs stay on for half an hour. Their big green LEDs shining on the wall behind them. But then I am old enough to remember getting up to change the channel.

It was a comment for the device WiiM device. See #6.
I just stop the playing and it goes to standby after the configured 2 minutes.

Yeah, it’s really annoying. I want to control the automation standby myself whenever I want to turn off all my equipment.
Currently, the automation standby is set for 30 minutes. I found this to be the most convenient time for me.

When you turn off a WiiM I wish it would STAY off. But instead, it wakes itself up to check for updates. I assume it triggers my amp to turn on... and the thump then wakes up my sub.
What happens when the power blinks out? Does everything power up? Could it wake up and start playing Internet radio or some other endless stream?

I don't know the answers to this because my Ultra is 200 miles away at my 2nd house. What worries me is the possibility the system could wake up and stay awake till spring when I get back there.
My TV has done this.
(Come to think of it, the TV would probably wake up the Wiim)
