Qobuz Please tell me about Qobuz

I don't think Chromecast supports gapless and 24/192. Does BubbleUPnP play from within the app in the same way as WHA? Or will it connect with Chromecast? If so, is there any difference between the Qobuz app's Chromecast?

Bubble for sure. ;) I’m using this app from more then one year and it’s superb. Gapless, 24/192 and very similar to native app. You will have to spend a bit of time exploring a lot of menues and submenues to config properly everything but it’s not difficult.
Just a suggestion, if you want enjoy Bubble at his max, buy the license. I don’t remember well, but it’s very cheap. May be 4$ for life.
WHA? Bubble is far,far better. WHA in comparison it’s primitive ;)😂😂

I created a specific Qobuz account and i logged in with Bubble whithout problems
 
Personally..i only would think about a Qobuz subscription when they finally have implemented a connect functionality.
Without it a no go..for me that is.

With Bubble besides play lists you can also create a playing queue of albums and they will play in succession.
I have just abandoned Amazon Unlimited two days ago. It was a mess. 😖 I have subscribed Tidal at the same price, and i’m experimenting with this service.:giggle:

This WiiM faq page suggested it would, but when I last asked WiiM about it, I got a very strange response along the lines that the preset examples were only examples and didn’t mean they would be supported. Made no sense at all tbh…

As I think I mentioned in another thread, I managed to use a harmony hub and remote, along with Home Assistant running on a Pi, a flIRc dongle and WiiM’s http api to be able to ask Alexa to play a preset, or run one of my LMS favourites, but it really was very convoluted…

I paid for Bubble but have given up a bit as I still can't sign in to Qobuz. 😂😢🤣

However, I have learned that I can also add Qobuz tracks to my favorites on the WiiM app. This may be enough for me.

So far, Qobuz is the best for me, it's a world of difference compared to AM and very easy to use. I plan to cancel Spotify and AM next month and sign up for an annual subscription to Qobuz.

It would be really useful if Alexa could control the presets, but I am very disappointed.

I don't even dare to put Echo dot in my bath. 😉

So my last resort is this.

I use the Smart Switch Toggle to press the preset buttons on the WiiM remote. 😁

You could create an app pw as described here

Sign in with app passwords - Google Account Help

Important: App passwords aren’t recommended and are unnecessary in most cases. To help keep your account secure, use "Sign in with Google" to connect apps to your Google Account. An app password is a
support.google.com

Or use an alternative auth method for qobuz.

I don't understand why you can't access Bubble. 🤔 For me it was simple, I entered my credentials and the connection was instant. You can write an email to the Bubble team. They are very collaborative and quick in responding. But I think you need to create a specific account, don't use your GMail account.;)
I agree with you about AMU and Spotify. I cancelled Spotify over a year ago, AMU cancelled two days ago. Over time AMU instead of improving has continued to get worse.😣 For the same price as AMU I subscribed to Tidal. I'm still in the trial period, but I will confirm it 🤗
One last piece of advice. Don't give up on Bubble. If WHA seems okay to you, with Bubble you'll feel like you're in heaven 😂😂

I cancelled my Qobuz subscription and re-registered with a different email address. I was able to successfully log in to Qobuz with Bubble.

Bubble is now available.

I have only used it a little, but this seems to be a very sophisticated application.

One question I have for you, when I view an artist in the library, I see more folders below it.

Is it possible to change the folder hierarchy so that everything is displayed on one page?

This is how it is listed in the WHA.

I will try to use Bubble some more, but this app seems too complicated for me.

Perhaps I love WHA too much. 🤣

Mhhhh, I use to see artists in Qobuz’s app, not Bubble. WHA vs Bubble? 😖 😖😖 😂😂
Don't be discouraged, Bubble is simpler than it seems. It just has a lot of options.
Have a little patience and you will be rewarded ;):giggle:
