Possibility to switch off regular search for updates.

Or at least the possibility to do this without activating the optical output signal when the system undergoes system-check during the night. Reason is that I have my wiim connected to an amplifier with auto-sense function, which then – if receiving the optical testsignal – switches on as well in the middle of the night.
