Hi everyone,
I’ve been trying to use the remote presets to quickly toggle between my speaker setup and my headphones, but I’m finding the execution to be quite "hit or miss."
My Setup:
Preset 1: Set to Line Out with a specific Custom EQ (tailored for my speakers).
Preset 2: Set to Headphone Out with EQ set to Flat.
The Issue:
The EQ settings don’t always follow the output switch. Frequently, when I press Preset 2 to move to headphones, I notice the sound is off—only to find that the EQ is still stuck on the Custom speaker profile instead of switching to Flat.
The same thing happens in reverse; sometimes when switching back to Line Out, the EQ remains on Flat. It seems like the WiiM (Ultra) registers the output change but fails to "fire" the associated EQ change consistently.
Has anyone else experienced this lag or failure in preset-linked EQ settings? Is there a specific way to save these to ensure the EQ is "baked into" the preset toggle every time?
Any advice or workarounds would be much appreciated!
