Qobuz Connect does not communicate with linkplay API on WiiM Ultra

I have a problem in setting up a Home Assistant automation in which Qobuz Connect doesn't communicate with the linkplay integration at all - it bypasses it entirely. Claude tells me it is a known limitation where Qobuz Connect talks directly to the WiiM hardware without updating the linkplay API. Is this true? If so, is there any workaround?

I was trying to setup an automation in which any time music plays to/from the WiiM Ultra → turn on AVR to preset input + volumes. It works perfectly fine with Tidal Connect, but not Qobuz Connect.
