When I do critical listening to my classical and jazz I usually use Qobuz. But when the wife works from home and I have to keep the volume down. The Belkin Soundform works great for airplay. It’s a neat little piece of kit. Highly recommended

That works for AirPlay 2, but an original Apple Airport Express 1st generation with firmware prior to 2012 will provide AirPlay 1 at CD quality. Very cheap on eBay.

Edit: reading the Crutchfield product description they also claim CD quality… so maybe Belkin supports AirPlay 1.

Agreed. My wife uses it. She doesn’t care at all about high res audio. She uses Apple Music. I got it so she could stream music when she wants to use the stereo. I use Qobuz when I stream music. Happy wife. Happy life.

No criticism from me. I use Apple Music too and to me it sounds better than Qobuz, which I also have.
