Recognising the Vibelink in the App Devices list?

Strange one this ... I have the Ultra and Vibelink and have downloaded the latest WiiM App to control them on my Pixel phone. I actually have two exactly the same Pixel Phones and on one of them the Vibelink is recognised in the devices list along with the Ultra. However it is not on the other Pixel phone and when I try to pair it via Bluetooth with the Vibelink this is the message I get (see attachments) ... the Vibelink refuses the connection for some reason? I wondered if there was a limitation being applied by the WiiM to allow just one connected device but then I tried a different Samsung phone also with the App and it paired with that successfully. As far as I can see the two Pixels are set up the same as is the WiiM App so I'm scratching my head a little.
I've given feedback to WiiM but I just wondered if anybody else had come across this before? Of course it's not an issue when using the Pixel which shows the Vibelink in the devices list, but the reason I raise this is that I was using the other Pixel principally and only when I swapped to the Pixel showing the Vibelink, did I see that there was a firmware update to the Vibelink and of course updated the Vibelink. Had I not swapped over I would have been blissfully unaware of the update.
p.s. I've tried unplugging the Vibelink several times to no avail ...

I think the Vibelink can only connect to one Bluetooth at the time?
It can currently be connected to two Bluetooth devices at the same time.

See this thread

I can concur with this as I have it connected to one of the Pixel phones and also a Samsung phone. But what I don't understand is why it wouldn't pair to my other Pixel? I hadn't connected the Samsung phone to it at the time so there was only one paired device when I was trying to pair the second Pixel ... that's why I describe it as strange. And it's not the Pixel that's blocking the pairing it's the Vibelink ...

Is the 'nearby devices' permission enabled in the Wiim app?

Once paired with one phone, the Vibelink card will appear in the WiiM app on all phones.

Where in the app do I see this? I can't see it but it might be in an obscure area or I might just be dim
Thanks

Check the permissions in the app settings of the WiiM app.
Ahh ... get you now it's the apps permissions on the phone not within the app itself :)
Yes the App has permission turned on for nearby devices so it's not that ... but worth checking out thanks.

Just as an aside ... the Vibelink card hasn't appeared on the second Pixel automatically nor did it with the Samsung - I had to manually pair it with Samsung ...

Perhaps notification permissions also need to be switched on.

It seems that up to two Vibelinks can be displayed at the same time; I think the third one needs to be paired, but it is not necessary if it is not displayed at the same time.

Yes notifications are turned on as well. I can see from your post that the Vibelink is displayed on your phone prompting you to connect but unfortunately on my Pixel there is no mention of the Vibelink at all ...
I think I'm going to delete the WiiM app off the Pixel altogether and then download again to see if this makes a difference.

Ok ... by deleting all the cache and data associated with the app and then uninstalling and then reinstalling the app has worked ... yeah :)
At first it showed the prompt to connect the Vibelink, but wouldn't, until I turned off the Samsung phone i.e. the second device associated with Vibelink. Once I had it then promptly connected. Turning the Samsung phone back on the Vibelink still shows except with the "connect" button is now displayed on that device proving the maximum 2 Bluetooth connections only are permitted at one time.

Thanks for all your help folks :)
