Remote will pair but won't function

My wiim is about three months old, I've tried all the steps new batteries & reset but still no joy it will pair though.Can I use alexa or Google voice though my mobile?

The best thing I did in my 20 year hi-fi journey is to buy a wiim & start streaming I adore it so much.

Probably a massive longshot, but is it possible that one of the remote buttons is stuck? I had this happen to me once with a TV remote. I have no other ideas except to advise WiiM in case the remote is faulty.

I did check the remote buttons after I read you're comment,they are not stuck as far as I can see.
