RoomFit calibration problem.

RoomFit’s behavior is a bit surprising. From the screenshot you can see that PK 9 and PK 10 fixes are above 20-100hz, which I set as the limit to eqalize. Why does it waste points? (The screenshots are from one and the same measurement).

This is normal behavior. The current RoomFit has a limiter set by default.

How does the "limiter" actually work? Does it set some of its own corrections?

As far as I recall, the automatic correction range extends up to 300Hz, so even if you set it to 20Hz–100Hz, it will correct frequencies from 20Hz to 300Hz.

I don't know if it's documented, but @dominikz and I found this before. @dominikz asked the support team and confirmed it's not a bug.

As you say, I think the default correction range should be set to 300Hz.

It is not documented and I already complained about that via a support ticket, but nothing was changed so far.

IMHO the upper limit frequency slider shouldn't allow values below 300Hz if the app ignores them - that just makes it confusing and misleading for the user.

I already have the next question. My left channel speaker wasn't even powered on at that measurement. I think I won't use any Android phones for measurements anymore. Same thing on both my Android phones 16 and 14.

But luckily my IPhone did that correctly and said “too much background noise” when I tried measure that speaker wich was turned off
