RoomFit confusion

Ok with the speakers very close to the wall (more like 7cm) have rerun RoomFit. Measurements and results as follows. Any thoughts? As is, it sounds ok I guess.
A few comments: the dip below 200Hz definitely improved with the new placement which is nice.
However with the "Individual Channel" RoomFit you now get more of the bass suck-out between 70-100Hz, which seems to be a result of some kind of cross-channel interference in your environment. Note that you are not alone with this kind of issue - see this post for a similar situation in another member's system.

Now, how flexible are you with speaker placement? If you can't adjust placement much, then going back to "Stereo" RoomFit might be the easiest solution. Is the current speaker placement symmetric (i.e. same distance from each speaker to sidewalls)?
Think it needs some EQ or maybe just some use of the tone controls on my Marantz amp.
Tone controls are the way to go for tonality adjustments! You can adjust it on your Marantz or inside WiiM Home app EQ (see this guide), either approach should be fine.
Am quite amazed how un-boomy the Dali's are so close to the wall! I guess that's the RoomFit doing it's job
Exactly - it's purpose is dealing with resonances/boom!

Placement wise...not much room for adjustment. So maybe a stereo measurement is the way forward. Here's my view from the sofa

Seems like a very cool space! :)

Like the other member with a similar cross-channel cancelation problem it seems there's a significant difference in distance to sidewalls from each speaker. I suspect this may be a factor.
And here is the stereo result. Absolutely zero idea how to interpret so appreciate any comments!

This looks much better to me. Notice how the cyan curve is closer to the yellow curve between 70-100Hz (compared to the previous individual channel case), and how the notch around 180Hz is now significantly shallower than in post #1.

Are you happy with how this sounds?

Of course, feel free to adjust the sound to your liking with the tone controls. Bass/treble balance is largely a personal preference thing - this is why tone controls exist, after all. :)

Can you mount the TV on the wall and position the speakers a bit further forward?
🤔🙂

Nope and nope. I've actually moved the speakers closer to the wall, as per above. Even without RoomFit, ie cd>amp it sounds good. With RoomFit and a bit of EQ it's sounding much better. Tweaks to be made and I still really don't understand the results/measurements but will keep playing with it. Thanks all for advice!

I think your results are pretty good already. When comparing your Final Assessment screen with what others have posted, always take note of the vertical scaling. It's relatively fine grained in your case.

That's the beauty of close to wall speaker placement joined with room correction. You get more energy in some low end frequency range but less deeping at some frequencies. The extra-energy is very easily corrected with room correction, the deeps, usually strong and narrow, is not correctable with PEQ (more arm than good).
Extra advantage: Your speakers and amp have an easier job on producing those low-end frequency range, since you have "mechanical (room)" amplification.
I believe this is the approach defended, for instance, by Lyngdorf.

PS - Since my 805S have front reflex port, mine are really close to wall... just 3-4 cm for cables to fit :)

What I meant was not to move the speakers, but to move the TV closer to the wall. This will make the speakers stick out more relative to the TV. But if the sound is already good, then it's fine. Please forget it, sorry.🙂

Ah no need to say sorry. I did have the speakers out about 20cm, but am happy with them set right back, am pretty surprised!
