Scientific Audiophile found RCA output issues?

Yeah, I shared the video with the team to check it out, but there isn't a lot of information in it, so I'm not sure what they'll be able to find. Hopefully he can contact us to share more feedback. If this were a wider problem, most likely it would have come up already, but I'll let you know what I hear.
Sometimes with mass produce product one of them might end up a lemon. He probably got a unit that has issue. He can simply send message via wiim app which also send his log to wiim for troubleshooting. I don’t think it’s appropriate to publish a review on YouTube with negative things to say like that. Viewer think it’s design flaw. I did not see any measurements on his review so it’s just subjective “word of a mouth” which doesn’t bode well who believe in science.

Yeah, it’s been on the market for 15 months and he’s the first to discover this issue?

He did it on the same YT channel, no channel separation.

🤡
:p
🤣
Oh I see it's just line in and it's still over 30dB. Nothing to see here. With my Audiolab 8000A you can hear the TV bleeding through on the CD input if you turn up the volume with nothing playing 🤣

Bit surprising that apparently until now no comments to the video from members of this forum appear in You Tube. Where if not here are the people with close looks in the performance of the Amp?

I usually prefer to not pay any attention to his videos.

Trying to correct someone (who's lacking even the minimal diligence of naming the product he "reviews" correctly just once) in his own comments section is probably pointless.

OTOH, asking why he did not simply send feedback through the WiiM Home app might actually be worth it.

My view is a bit different. It applies to all this money grabbing charlatans, let them be cheap, honest, robinsonish or scientific. But long as long as there is no public contra they will go on celebrating their growing audience. On the other side any response will express attention not deserved.

I understand what you are saying, but I believe it is not for us users to do that, but for companies to respond.

Is this the same issue?

Pardon my French, but the guy is so full of sh*t 🥲
Is it time to file legal action against him for misleading information? 😂 I know people would sue just about everything since they have nothing to loose but big gain if there’s case in their favor.
