As we wrap up 2025 and celebrate this festive season, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you in the WiiM community. Your passion for great audio, your thoughtful feedback, and your incredible support throughout the year have made WiiM what it is today.

A special thank you to everyone who participated in our Q4 Community Survey! Your insights are invaluable in helping us understand what matters most to you. We'll have it open for a few more days for some last minute feedback.

We heard you loud and clear on priorities like software stability and making our app even easier to use. There were some great suggestions in there, and we were able to see some very obvious trends in there, both for hardware and software! Your feedback directly shapes our roadmap, and we're excited to tackle these challenges in 2026.

We're particularly grateful for:

Thanks to WiiM for revolutionizing streaming. Gapless, multiroom, support for all major streaming providers, great software, best value for money, ongoing support, and so much more.
Two Minis, two Pros, and two Ultras enrich our household and have been performing flawlessly since then (the Minis for almost 5 years now, the Pros for four, and the Ultras for one year).

Who or what in the audio community inspired you this year?
Simbun. His posts/explanations inspired me to try something more than “just” using the Minim server, which I've been using for many years. Now I'm also totally happy with the Navidrome server and Symfonium.

What WiiM moment or feature made you smile?
Requests and discussions regarding the best use of the Ultra display. Colored, blurred backgrounds, VU meter discussions, etc.

What accomplishment (audio-related or not) are you proud of?
Finally having a colonoscopy as a preventive medical checkup.

Who helped make your listening experience better?
The many nice people with their suggestions from the “What are you listening to” thread.

I just answered a question honestly
...it cannot be emphasized enough that this examination is important for 50+ old people as a preventive measure. And yes, I am proud to have had it done this year. I put it off for years, only to realize in the end that it's not bad at all. So, do it—as a good resolution for 2026.
