Wasn't really sure where to post this.
I currently have a pro connected to my home theater system which is my primary listening Room. I'm using Wi-Fi and streaming from Qobuz.

I do not have an iPhone. I'm Android.

I'm considering hooking up my mini to my old Bose Wave radio in my bedroom. It does have RCA jacks so I think it's possible.
My question is... can I sync these two devices so that when I walk from my living room and into my bedroom the same track is playing?
What I want to avoid is having to connect my Wii Pro (in the living room) with my phone via Bluetooth and sacrifice sound quality. TIA

if you mean synch the output your pro with your mini then the answer is yes

this is about minis but it applies to the pro etc as well

I think the answer is yes but it has nothing to do with Chromecast.
The WiiM Mini has a 3.5mm jack line out that can be used with a 3.5mm jack to 2 x RCA cable.
You will sync the Pro and Mini inside the WiM Home App.

THX guys. I guess the reason I mentioned Chromecast was because the only thing I could find on this was how to do it with airplay which as I understand it only works for iPhones and I wanted to be clear that I do not have an iPhone so AirPlay would not work in my case.

So, to be clear, you intend to use Qobuz from within the wiim app rather than the native qobuz app?
If you had a pro and a mini in a wiim group and used the qobuz app to chromecast to the pro then I wouldn't expect the mini to play anything.

This has nothing to do with there being a mini, which doesn't have chromecast, in the wiim group.
If you chromecast to the parent of a wiim group only the parent plays.

^^ this :)

OK guys... I've got my 3 device group working (sort of) and in sync.
What is the trick (setting) to achieve independent volume control?
- I've got my Pro running through my Home Theater/2 channel system.
- One mini connected to my old Bose Wave radio/CD player.
- One mini connected to my 50 year old Sansui 881 receiver.
Before creating the "Group"... I used the WIIM Home App to control my volume. Now, with 2 other de1000014993.jpgvices connected... the app seems to adjust all 3 together. I know I can control the volumes individually (manually) but is there a way to "un-tie" them so I can simply use the volume "slide bars" on the Home App? TIA

Do you want to adjust the volume in the living room and master room separately?

If so, move the slide bar on each device or tap to the left or right of the bar. Tap the right side of the current volume position to increase the volume by 1%. Tap the left side of the bar to decrease the volume by 1%. Alternatively, use the volume buttons on each device to adjust the volume. You can also adjust the volume of the entire group by adjusting the volume on the master device's remote.

I don't think there is any other way at the moment.
