It would be nice not to have to enter presets across every device in my home.
For example, our home has an open area kitchen, living room, and dining room (persistent group, anyone?). Each has its own WiiM device. There are times when we don't want music playing in each area, or when someone has played directly from an app into a zone different from the "owner" WiiM of a group, thus breaking it apart. Then, maybe that room rebuilds a group. Other times, a group might be created with the living room and a room on the other side of the living room. Bottom line is that we cannot just set 1 permanent group with the same "owner" of the group and only set up presets there. We need to be able to access the presets from *any device* in our home. You know, WiiM "Home" App and all.
Dwellers of this forum understand this issue, but users of my system don't. "Where did my presets go?" "They were just here..." "This system is too hard..." etc., etc.
And, I get it, some users may want per device presets. I get it. Just give the option for a WiiM home to be a "home"-wide app, please.
