I feel compelled to shout out my praise for the support team.
I'm a relative newbie and over the past couple of weeks have had issues getting multi-room to work. The first issue was bluetooth dropping out from the mini. This was solved by making the mini host and then joining the Pro Plus, rather than leading from the PP.
Second issue was major audio latency given that outputs from both rooms could, in places, be heard at the same time. Super yuk.
Again at support's suggestion this was fixed by advancing the mini 650ms. So now if there remains any latency, I can't detect it.
I found support to be super responsive, friendly, and helpful. And they fixed it.
So support guys/gals, much kudos to you, most appreciated.
