Don't have a clean shot of my set up at the minute but my amp seems to be happy with my B&W 606's. Previously using a Cambridge audio 'One' to drive them+ a cc audio for streaming. The experience of the WiiM amp to stream to and Interact with via the apps / remote is night and day better and I haven't noticed losing anything audio wise (besides a physical cd player and a lot less heat).
This speaker has room at the back but is still partially bunged before any one comments View attachment 5290

Screened porch set up: Fosi TB10D amp and Modi MB paired with a WiiM Mini streaming Amazon HD. Speakers are outdoor Axioms and Marcato passive sub.

If you live in the deep south a screened porch is much appreciated.

It does do a respectable job at lower levels. But once I turn it up it where the amp shows it weakness. It’s loud and clear but they need at least 100 jigga watts to start to really sound amazing. But with that being said I absolutely love my WiiM amp and its software.

The WiiM Amp has been driving the outdoor rig on my covered porch. We live in the Southeast USA so we are still out there using it. I will likely bring it in for the season soon.

Typical use is for live video concert streams. Using an AppleTV4K as source, the audio is wirelessly sent to the WiiM Amp via Airplay2. I don’t need hi-res out here so I am good with that. When we aren’t watching video out here, we are usually playing audio in multi room mode, synched with the other setups inside. Services include Spotify and Qobuz. Sometimes I’ll stream FLAC files, CDs or occasionally vinyl sourced in one of the other setups.

Thanks, I think you’re right and that it’s Airplay not Airplay 2 (difficult to spot which version from the iPhone).

Yeah, you can tell in that you can’t select it along with other airplay targets as you can with Airplay 2. Upside though is that it’s lossless CD quality rather than lossy 256kbps AAC that you’d get using Apple Music.

Personally, I'd rather have Airplay than Airplay 2.
