Shuffle & Repeat no longer showing on playlists

It used to work fine but I’ve just discovered that the shuffle and repeat buttons are missing on tracks on playlists. I’ve tried creating a new playlist and it’s the same. Still works fine when I look at the same tracks and their albums stored on my NAS. I’ve tried rebooting the WiiM Amp. Phone and NAS.

Has anyone else experienced this?
Any ideas how to fix it?

Firmware is up to date and app is the latest iPhone version.

Yep, greyed out and not working either. It does move on the next track in the playlist though when the track ends.
 
This is the screen you get when you click on a playlist. Just the tracks with no play or shuffle…

I'm not the playlist type, so probably I cannot help much here.

Since you are playing from a NAS it could be helpful to know which media server you are running. I have learned from our top expert @simbun that playlist on DLNA server can be very fragile.
 
It is running DLNA on a WD My Cloud NAS. I’ve tried rebuilding the database and still no joy. It’s strange that the albums all display and work correctly, even the standard playlists (recently added, played most often etc) all work fine. It’s just the playlists that I’ve created in the my music section.

Could it be a bug in the latest firmware or app update?

If it hadn't been for the queue icon in the first screenshot I would have thought the playlist was being cast from a third-party control point!

I don't believe this can be caused by the music server; even if it didn't support seeking it wouldn't impact the ability to advance tracks (play the next URL in the list).

I've tested this on Android and it works as expected, so the first thing to rule out would be an iOS bug - even the progress bar looks odd (04:31, -04:31).
 
I've been able to replicate this on iOS. These are not playliststs stored on the server.
If I create such a list on my iPhone it will not be available on my iPad on the same network connecting to the same WiiM.
So we are talking about playlists stored in the WHA on a specific mobile device.
 
I repeated the exercise on my iPad. The result is the same as on the phone. No shuffle/repeat and FF/REW greyed out and not responding.

Thanks for your help. So it’s not just me then! So this is a bug with the iOS home app? I have raised a ticket with WiiM through the feedback section. I will double check on my wife’s android phone.

The ticket was the way to go (y).

I have never used it before, so I cannot say if this has ever been working or not on iOS.
 
I’ve just tried this on an Android phone and it IS working fine so the bug is just with iOS/Apple devices.

I’ve raised a ticket but perhaps if anyone else has the same issue please raise a ticket too and WiiM may rectify it quicker.
