Snake oil or good upgrade?

I rather use WiFi instead unless I can electronically isolate network cable between network switch / router and WiiM. If network switch and WiiM are plugged to different electric outlets, network cable can "potentially" cause ground loop.

If you’re looking for a beefy looking CAT 8, this beefcake is sexy without breaking the bank. It has that $500 cable look and feel. Soundwise, I noticed no difference from the Monoprice and DH Labs CAT 8 I was using, but it’s so beefy. The pictures don’t do it justice.

If the shop has a good return policy then no harm in trying it?

Feel free to check out the rabbit hole at ethernet-sound.com
That might be the way to go if you're interested in optimizing your LAN streaming chain... 🤔
I have not heard a difference between "regular" cables, but with the "throttle cable" (v2.5 from Ethernet sound) along with a tplink WLAN repeater I have noticed a decent improvement in SQ... 🤷‍♂️out

WiFi is inherently unstable in comparison to an Ethernet connection. You are potentially fixing a small issue and replacing it with a bigger one.

Its a hifi quality ethernet cable for your wiim ultra, it reduces jitter💀
Just get BlueJean Cables Cat. 6 ethernet. They are outstanding and they are all tested before they get sent with a test result sheet to you. Category 6 tests out excellent.

I have a high end system and run their reasonably priced ethernet cables between Cisco boxes and fiber from a fiber router. They are outstanding.

Save your money for a rainy day.

If money is not a limit, I'd rather spend on a fiber optic network switch and a fiber to Ethernet converter. I don't expect it will improve any, though.
