Yes. This is common in large roll outs. We do the same at Microsoft.

Even under a Family account, each person has his/her login credentials. Most probably they go user by user.

it was not really meant to be humorous. times when i could laugh about this corporation are history. just another one of my selfless attempts to get at least a few of the sh..tify users to think about the company once again. if not in this thread, then where?
Doesn't take much to realize here's not the place. People in these forums are smart enough to choose which service best suits their personal needs, taste and budget. They're probably fed up hearing why "X" is better than "Y".
The simple fact is that one of the main differentiators - the sound quality - is not an issue anymore for most of us, so good luck with whatever it is you're trying to achieve.

The guy’s dissatisfied with a service that I imagine he’s paying for to the point of being pissed, and he’s venting in a forum - it’s been known to happen. 15 yards for unsportsmanlike. Now give him a break and just move on.

Did you connect to the WiiM Amp in the Spotify app and change the lossless setting in the settings screen?
The Spotify app requires lossless settings for each WiiM device.

Yes, both are playing via Spotify Connect. For the Ultra, i could select Lossless in the Spotify app, but it's greyed out for the Amp.

I greyed out at first too. I think you can make the lossless change after a bit of time, but you could also try rebooting the Amp and clearing the Spotify app cache (or reinstalling it).
My WiiM Amp can play lossless, so I don't think there is anything wrong with the device.

Yes it would, mixer only applies when using speakers connected to the PC
He doesn’t even mention streamers in the video which makes it incomplete if not close to irrelevant imho…
Check the Amp is on the latest non-beta firmware, power cycle it and try again. I have Spotify lossless on all my WiiM devices from the mini to the amp ultra (my amp pro isn’t connected at the moment).
