Hi all,

I’ve introduced a b&k sub and in the process of setting it up. I’ve noticed that voice is coming out of the Sub which I assume this is due to the crossover frequency being set to high..

Based on my current speakers, should I set the crossover to around 48Khz?

48kHz? 🤣. I have mine set to 80Hz so the speakers are relieved of the bottom two octaves. What settings are you using now?

The low frequency crossover of my speakers is 38Hz hence setting the sub crossover to 48Hz ..
You want the crossover frequency set in the WiiM Home App to be noticeably higher than the lower frequency limit of your speakers.

I think the WiiM FAQ say something like 1.5 times higher (or more), I say at least 2 times higher (or more).

80 Hz is really a good default value, in particular with a single subwoofer.
