Hi all,

I’ve introduced a b&k sub and in the process of setting it up. I’ve noticed that voice is coming out of the Sub which I assume this is due to the crossover frequency being set to high..

Based on my current speakers, should I set the crossover to around 48Khz?

48kHz? . I have mine set to 80Hz so the speakers are relieved of the bottom two octaves. What settings are you using now?

It could be my miss understanding then .. The low frequency crossover of my speakers is 38Hz hence setting the sub crossover to 48Hz ..

Please turn off the subwoofer bypass mode.

First turn off "Subwoofer Bypass Mode". You can try 48Hz but also try up to 80Hz.

You want the crossover frequency set in the WiiM Home App to be noticeably higher than the lower frequency limit of your speakers.

I think the WiiM FAQ say something like 1.5 times higher (or more), I say at least 2 times higher (or more).

80 Hz is really a good default value, in particular with a single subwoofer.

10 - 15 hz above the main speakers low frequency range stated in the app.
Is this why you set yours to 48hz
@harkpabst is correct though 80hz is a good starting point
