Hi all, I'm new to Wiim and so far I'm impressed with my Wiim streaming amp which I have connected to a pair of Monitor Audio C180 ceiling speakers.

I'm now wanting to add a bass speaker. I already had a Bose 500 bass module but I cannot get this to work either wirelessly or hard wired to the Wiim Amp.

My budget is circa £200, does anyone have any recommendations for a bass speaker that is compatible with the Wiim Amp please?

I would recommend the RSL SpeedWoofer 10E, but I don't know if it will come under budget when shipped to the UK:

EDIT: Ah, unfortunately, they are also currently sold out. Sorry!

Thanks for the reply, I'll bear that in mind.😉

What WiiM Amp do you have?

You should be able to connect its sub output with a RCA to 3.5 mm audio cable.
Hi, thanks for the reply, I have this amp. I've tried using the RCA to 3.5mm cable but still can't seem to get it to work.

It should. Did you remember to enable the sub output from the WiiM? And the aux input on the Bose?
Hi, the only connection on the back of the bass module is named 'Acoustimass' which I connected to and it didn't work. Is there something to switch on in the Bose app perhaps?

I'm still looking for a suitable bass speaker but now thinking I need something that I can connect to the Wiim amp via Bluetooth.

There is a Q acoustics 3060S subwoofer on sale for £249 but it doenst say if it can connect with the Wiim amp wirelessley, anyone had any experience with this please?

All WiiM device is not capable of multiple simultaneous outputs, so if sound is emitted from a Bluetooth-connected sub, no sound will be emitted from the speakers.

If the Q acoustics 3060S supports Bluetooth input, it would be possible to transmit wirelessly by connecting a Bluetooth transmitter to the WiiM Amp's sub out jack.

However, from the Q acoustics 3060S catalogue it does not appear to support Bluetooth..

If your budget allows, you can connect wirelessly with the WiiM Sub Pro.
