Subwoofer for Amp Pro

Hi everyone, I've just bought a Wiim Amp Pro and have a pair of Q Acoustics 3020 speakers attached. I'd like to get a subwoofer to complement them. I have browsed the forums, but can't find anything in the UK so far. I've found the Q Acoustics 3060s on Richer Sounds for £249 and wondered if this would be a good match?

With a Wiim Amp, basically any active subwoofer with analog out will do just fine. In order to avoid overkill and overspending, consider your room size when picking the power output (watts) of the subwoofer, ex if your room is small, let say less than 25 sq Mts, you don`t need more than 100wts. Plenty of affordable options in Amazon. I have my WiiM Amp paired with a Yamaha NSW050 8inch which is only 50wts, side ported and it sounds flawless.

BK Electronics - used to make the REL subs. Great value, but I agree web design is not their forte....

A decent sub does make a huge difference, but a mediocre one just makes a noise IMO. I've an old SVS SB12 and it's amazing, even though it's not even connected to my Wiim (I've a Linn Komponent Sub in the kitchen where the Wimm is, more for convenience than performance). It makes a difference though....

Save up if you need to to get something that performs a bit better. I prefer a sealed box sub - less chuffing!

May I suggest to have a look at this amazing resource that collects data for an extraordinary number of commercial subs (including standard CEA 2010 perfomance measurements, where available), and allows you to filter and sort?

Thank you both for the suggestions. @deksawyer the B.K's are a bit pricy and my wife would probably have something to say about it!
@dominikz that's an extensive list, thanks.
I've looked at cheap models on Amazon, but reviews aren't particularly favourable.
I'm leaning towards the Q Acoustics 3060s as I like the brand and trust it and have found it for £199, £50 cheaper than Richer Sounds, so I feel it's quite a bargain.
I shall look at that spreadsheet more closely and see if I can understand the data before making a decision.

At a similar price point (and looking at performance alone) I'd also check out the Monoprice SW-12, Polk Audio PSW10 and Dayton Audio SUB-1500 - they seem to offer a bit more output compared to 3060S.

Of course raw performance is not everything, and things like availability, looks, size, features, warranty, brand, etc. all play a part too.

Unfortunately, their least costly offer, the Gemini has recently been replaced by the P10-150-GEM and the price went up a bit. Their subs are certainly to be concidered very good value.

The American brands may be hard to get in the UK. In particular, Monoprice have ceased their European operations completely. European Dayton Audio distributors usually only stick DIY components. Polk Audio might be available, but is relatively pricey in comparison.

Thanks again @dominikz I can't find the Monoprice or Dayton in the UK and the Polk has mixed reviews, particularly on Reddit. Also, I can't find it in a hifi store, only Amazon and that bothers me thinking ahead to if it needs warranty repair. The 3060s comes from Peter Tyson in the UK and has a 6 year warranty. I'll dig a wee bit deeper I think, before pulling the trigger.

Thanks @harkpabst I think the BK are a bit of a stretch budgetwise. I did see the Wiim but wondered when it would be available in the UK and how much it would cost.
I'm still researching, but as usual, there are conflicting reviews on everything. It's trying to weed out the dross and bias!
