Subwoofer output on wiim amp stopped working

Subwoofer has been working perfectly but randomly stopped receiving a signal from the amp. It may have happened when my amp updated firmware automatically. Wiim have rolled me back to a previous firmware but the problem remains and they have gone quiet.

I’ve tested my sub with a different amp and it is working fine.

Any ideas?

I’ve tried two. An old richter Krakatoa and an
Acoustic Energy AE108 Mk1. Both were working fine.

This might be a silly question, but is "Sub Out" turned on in the WiiM app?

Do they have auto on/off? If so can you disable it?

Hehe. Yep. It is.

They do. I set it to on.

Have you tried a power cycle?
Remove the power cord from the power supply to your WiiM for a couple of minutes and then try again.

Yep. It’s just straight on.

Yep. And also did a complete reset before they rolled back the firmware.

Well if it isn't some goofy setting, the sub itself, or the cable then it has to be an Amp problem. Just make sure the cable is connected to the Amp properly.
