I have now borrowed a calibration mic. Not sure what its name is, but it came with my friend's JBL SA750. It seems to be made to run with Dirac Live. Could I potentially use that mic with my iphone (if I find a converter from USB to lightning) or would I need to pay for a Dirac Live license to get it to work on my mac and then import the file somhow?
Found an adapter and I do think this external mic gives me a better result. Finding it harder to tell the difference when toggling RC on and off, which I think is a good thing as I am not altogether dissatisfied with my sound without RC. Will have to listen some more, tho.
Alright. I have now listened some and I still do find that I like the way my system sounds better without any room correction or EQ. Performing RC with an external mic did improve the result but I still think that it muffles, or simly dampens, the bass too much to my liking. Glad I tested it though. I guess I am just really happy with how my sound is without RC/EQ.

I believe I chose Harman. Unless it always defaults back to B&K. Then it may be that. Will have to check when I am home. I will see if changing the target curve helps. Or is it necesarry to change the target before performing RC?

Your selection should be saved and retained between sessions. Some updates could potentially change this back to defaults so it's worth having a look, but most likely your settings just be how you choose them to.

Yes make sure the correct target is chosen before performing RC. Also if you haven't tried it yet, individual channel RC provides 3dB more bass than stereo RC.

Harman was indeed already selected as target curve. Performing a new RC without precision RC does improve the result substantially. Thanks for the advice.
@RyanWithWiiM are there more features or refinement being added to RC? It was mentioned before that adding more than 10 band and separate peq for the sub. Thanks!
