Tidal Connect via ethernet and sample rate

Hi

New to the wiim world and have the Ultra. So far quite happy with it however I have two questions.

Setup is the Wiim Ultra connected to a SMSL Raw MDA1 via optical cable.

Question 1:
When the Wiim is using ethernet connected to my router then Im not able to use the Tidal app on my iphone and find the Wiim. So Tidal Connect cant be used. Can use it through the Wiim App. Once on pure wifi there is no issue.

Question 2:
When playing music at 88.2khz my phone will show that but on the Wiim it only shows 44.1 and also on the external DAC - why is that ?

Q1. Are your Ethernet and WiFi using different subnets, or have you a router setting to prevent one accessing the other?
Q2. Sounds like the phone is doing an MQA first unfold - WiiM devices no longer support MQA nor unfolding so the original 44.1is passed on as is.

How are you driving WiiM in this case?
Could you suggest a Song with this behavior? Actually Tidal totally removed 48KHz MQA and just the MQA flag for the 44.1KHz ones, so no MQA are/were natively 88.2KHz, so all it’s hardly related to MQA.
Actually i'm using Tidal with both wiim and bluos with no bitrate mismatch.
