I'm able to connect to Tidal using Tidal connect and play a song. But a couple of minutes in, the Wiim disconnects from Tidal connect and I can hear the song on both my phone and through the speakers connected to the Wiim. This happens every single time. I can stop it on the Tidal app and it continues through the Wiim app. Any ideas how to fix this?

What mobile phone do you use? not android 14? because there might be a problem with Tidal updates for a while...( one mounth

Would suggest opening tickets with both WiiM and Tidal. When music is playing on both devices, what happens when you reconnect the app to the WiiM using Tidal Connect?

I am using Android 14...didn't realise it was a known issue because I haven't seen it reported elsewhere. When I reconnect to the Wiim from Tidal the music on the Wiim stops and then I need to restart by pressing play on the phone. Till it disconnects a couple of minutes later again.

Similar issues here... I blame tidal but maybe I should report to wiim. I don't have the issue when using an iPad interestingly, only my pixel phone

Unfortunately feel that Spotify connect is much more stable than Tidal Connect, Tidal often loses contact with which song is playing and does not catch up, is it a Tidal problem? Any tips on how to make it better?

No such issue here. Tidal Connect appears to be rock stable for me. It might have lost sync (very) rarely but would usually reconnect automatically. No interruption in playback.

It has been a bit unstable for me but it also seems to have improved a bit recently (as in last 2 or 3 weeks). I didn't keep an eye to check it there were updates

Maybe I should have mentioned that I just finished my third month using Tidal. :) During this time it's been no less reliable than Spotify, which I continue to pay for due to ... family.

Haha I cancelled my Spotify 3 weeks ago and got a Tidal family plan :-) The kids are big enough to pay for their own Spotify if they want it now 🤣

Same here, in theory. In practice, the best dad of them all is still paying for that family account. At least up until the next price increase.

Wait and see, still have my issues with Tidal, Lenbrook and MQA.
Luckily, Tidal ran about as fast as they could from MQA, just in time.
