Trying to find a simple workaround for the CD/BluRay player connection thru Ultra. Need some help, please.

I like the stands and heatsinks on the Fosi amps. Did you put some on the bottom of the amps as well?

Why did you go for a streaming Blu-ray player when all you needed was a CD transport for your streamer?

They make less expensive models without the streaming function.

Superb performance, low cost, pretty compact, highly regarded reviews. I researched a great deal for a new player as needed something much smaller to replace my beloved Oppo, BD83 SE and no regrets buying one of these.

They make less expensive models without the streaming function.

I wanted to replace my Blu Ray player that happened to have a great CD transport and a very good DAC built in, it was $1k new many years ago but reportedly had the same exact transport and main boards as the "audiophile" brands that were $3-5k which I heard about from a very reliable source.

I now use an outboard DAC, Topping V70 Velvet, so wanted a great Blu Ray player that I could also play by CD's with. I seldom use it though as y mostly stream but I really like it, dang fine unit for a very good price.

Even the built in DAC on the player is quite good but of course the Velvet is better

Thank you for your suggestion, last week I ordered the Shanling and must agree, it is great. Only using WiiM on headphones by the way.

I have a Fosi BT20A Pro amplifier and the Fosi P4.
My question is:
Is the Wiim Ultra sufficient as a preamp, so my P4 is useless?
And how do I connect the CD player to the Wii U Ultra to get the best sound?

The WiiM Ultra will fully replace the P4.
Connect the WiiM Ultra RCA output to the BT20A line input.

And how do I connect the CD player to the Wii U Ultra to get the best sound?

Best option is the optical TOSLINK.

No. The CD output will be digital, so needs to be converted to analog by the WiiM Ultra.

There is no bypass in the Ultra. All is handled in the digital domain.

The WiiM device is always on anyway (active or standby) so should be no problem.
