Ultra looks like it's updating in standby

Every now and then whilst in standby I noticed the Ultra looks like it's updating.

In standby I have the clock on the screen but every now and then I notice a spinning wheel like it is updating. I'm sure all updates I've had I've done manually via the app.

I'm sure it's something and nothing but I'm intrigued to know what it's doing.

I think it's just checking for updates.

WiiM once mentioned that the devices will wake up and look for updates every three days, IIRC.

But that was some time ago, things might work differently now.

AHH, I never thought of that, that would make sense. Every update I've ever had I've had to do it manually through the app but it makes sense that the ultra would have to check

That makes sense, I was confused because it looked like it was updating but after checking the revision number there was no change.
