I've had an Ultra since last summer and really enjoy it. The past two months or so I've noticed I'll walk into the room when the unit is in standby (not playing and clock should be displaying) and see that it has switched itself to Bluetooth input. I've only ever used the Wifi input and have never paired the Ultra with any Bluetooth device, either input or output. This happen every few days and I've spotted nothing that would explain it. It never happens while its playing music. When it does occur, I can quickly set it back to Wifi input with the phone app so its not been a big issue, just a curiosity. I've never noticed this issue with either the Pro or Pro Plus I have in other systems.

Any thoughts?

Hi mlsstl,

Hi mlsstl,

Our team reviewed your feedback log and found that the input was switched to Bluetooth via the WiiM remote (by tapping the source button).

Is it possible the source button was pressed accidentally? If not, there might be an issue with the remote itself. In that case, we’d be happy to send you a replacement remote to try. Let us know what works best for you!

An easy way to test would be to remove the battery from the remote. If the issue disappears the remote is faulty.

Interesting. I've never used the remote when the Bluetooth switch has happened. There are only two people in our house so I guess its possible that my wife has hit the button by accident. (We use remote presets 1 & 2 for local radio stations.) But, she's never mentioned any issue with the system not working for her so if that's the underlying cause, I'd guess its happening when she's turning the station off. As noted, this is more of a curiosity to me than a problem so I'll just keep an eye out to see if that addresses the issue. Thanks to WiiM for the prompt response.
