USB HDD not detected at all even though Y-cable and correctly formatted

I have a similiar problem with the USB storage. After closing the app the USB storage isn't available and it's not visible für any other UPnP devices or apps like mconnect. USB still seems to be faulty. I hope there is a solution soon by upating the firmware or the app. I have already opened a ticket.

Dear Laramie - I don't know Hi-Fi Cast or Plex - but do you think library visibility under Foobar2000 is proof as well to be generally ok?

I would think being able to see it from anywhere else is positive and probably points to bug in the Home app. If Foobar can see and access the library, then the Amp is doing it's job.

I've just tried connecting my two bay SATA dock into USB port of the Wiim Ultra. 2TB and 3TB HDD, single and duals at at time, formatted to EXT4 through Synology control panel. Music is there, just tested in Windows with disk genius.

Drives are not detected at all.

I'll try a blank HDD format to NTFS and see if the files are recognised.
