Vibelink amp strange noises

When switching inputs on my new Vibelink amplifier, there is a strange clicking sound coming from the speaker. It only does this when switching to coaxial and optical inputs. It does not do this when switching to RCA inputs. When turning off Ultra and Vibelink, there is also a faint crackling sound coming from the speaker. Thanks in advance for any answers. Sorry for the bad English :-))

Welcome.

This is normal on turning off the vibelink. Turning on too.
I really only use optical on my vibelink so I'd have to try changing inputs to see if I hear a slight noise then too.
But honestly, I don't think it's defective / an issue. I get the same slight noises on other amps too.

Sorry, when switching inputs, the clicking sound does not come from the speakers, but from the Vibelink AMP.

Could you please check again?

This is the (correct) behaviour when switching input sources on my Vibelink.

Coaxial -> Optical: No clicking sound.
Optical -> RCA: A clicking sound is present.
RCA -> Coaxial: A clicking sound is present.

The clicking sound can be heard from both the device and the speaker.

On my device, a faint crackling sound can be heard from the tweeter only when idling. (This is a known fact.)

No noise is audible when Vibelink is in standby or sleep mode.

Press and hold the power button on the rear of the Vibelink for two seconds until the LED turns off, putting it into sleep mode. In this state, please check whether any noise can be heard from the speaker.

Really? Didn't know that and in my view that is unacceptable. Most amplifiers have some residual noise or hum when listening very close but crackling is not normal.

To be precise, this is not a crackling noise like static electricity. It is a continuous behavior sound.
(It is difficult to describe this sound in words.)

Please check on your Vibe.

It's exactly as you wrote, optical doesn't click, RCA clicks, coax clicks :-)). The click is faintly audible even in the speaker
