Vibelink Standby and Sleep Mode

The instructions for the Vibelink say the amp will go into Standby mode after 30 minutes of inactivity... and into Sleep mode after 48 hours.

I've never seen mine go into Sleep mode on its own before - even when I've not used it for several days straight, the input light on the front stays lit. In my setup, the vibelink is connected to an Ultra via toslink. No trigger cable.

What constitutes "inactivity"? Has anyone else observed the amp go into Sleep mode on its own after 48 hours?

I use a trigger cable. However your Ultra may be waking your vibelink amp up while looking for updates. I have noticed that this also occurs with the trigger cable. The ultra wakes the amp but doesn't put it back to sleep. I have raised a ticket.

I just got home and checked the vibelink, and the led is off.
I'm wondering whether the ultra woke itself up shortly before I checked this morning.
i.e. ultra woke up, ultra is set to go to standby after 1 hour, vibelink waits another 30 mins.
Maybe I just timed it well (or badly)?
