Volume balance - Wiim ULTRA - How much is too much?

Mono/ balance....
From the very beginning of Wiim, I insisted on this pair of functions, who associate, which are very useful for adjusting things correctly and easily...

Not sure if that was understood correctly...

these functions having often disappeared from our integrated preamps, etc., for decades
Thank to wiim...
;-)
You've been successful then, haven't you? Balance control and a "mono switch" (even if a little inconvenient) are both available through the WiiM Home App. And yes, I consider them useful, too.

What is not available is a left/right time delay. This should not and cannot be integrated into a balance slider. If there's just a difference in level between both channels (e.g. due to a questionable mix) only the level should be corrected. Adding delay in case there's a different distance to both speakers from the listening position is a different topic, but also a niche application. Even adding delay won't restore perfect symmetry.

Every WiiM device can be set to mono output at least since the WiiM Amp came out. Probably much longer. ;)

Device Settings => Audio Settings => Audio Channel => Mono.
Yes, what I'm saying... it's been like that for years now... with the balance feature, among the very first functions integrated into Wiim Home...
a good aid for speaker placement etc etc

Classics fonctions : mono ..balance ...mute... loudness ...gain....."direct source"....(phase/ inv)..
;-)
(But what was requested from the very first GEC and then the first PEQ... however, still no autogain years later...)

( typical of that era , even the simplified approach to correction was quite simple and intuitive ;-) )

No, honestly, I simply don't understand what you are talking about.

Functionality is there. Are you complaining about the lack of physical buttons, sliders and potentiometers available with no need to use any app? If so, could you confirm this in one short direct sentence, no parentheses, no rethorical figures?

I was pointing out the existence of primary functions...which are available (except for muting).

But as a bit of a cheeky touch...the idea, for those who, for example, use tablets, of a simple graphical interface that adopts the visual style of these kinds of old machines...with direct access to the primary functions...yes, that could be nice and more intuitive.
But the process is underway with the enhancement of the device page. (muting?)

;-)
(Precise speaker placement, for example using the mono function, is something to encourage, I think... before using roomfit, PEQ, etc. Perhaps not emphasized enough ;-)

Only 3 parentheses. Now I just need to understand what ... mean.

For "muting" of sound only, that is the same as "pause". You have that available for all sources. In addition you can mute the sound on the "Now Playing" page by pressing the speaker icon. And on the remote also, of course.

It's not quite the same function or use... ;-)
But not as essential as mono/balance, which is why we don't talk about it...

but

autogain....?
On/off of limiter?
Overload peak indicator?
?
