Has anything changed in the app regarding the connection between the volume on the device, in my case a WiiM Pro Plus, and the volume control on the phone?
I'm fairly sure that in the past, if I was listening to something on the WiiM, that I could adjust the volume control on my phone, and it would only affect the phone and not the WiiM, and to adjust the WiiM volume I'd need to have the app in focus first.
Now it seems that there's a link somehow. I generally keep the media volume on my phone turned down to zero, and only turn it up if I want to listen to something like a video on Facebook or something, to avoid loud surprises from stuff on websites automatically playing. If I do that now it not only increases the volume on the phone but causes the volume on the WiiM to increases as well.
I should note that I have recently updated my phone from a Pixel 7 to a Pixel 9, and also to Android 16 if that makes any difference.
