Volume too low for speakers

I bought the WiiM Ultra from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/WiiM-Streamer-Touchscreen-Compatible-Headphone/dp/B0D41YCLW8

I connected to system to my outdoor speakers: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00SS62BY6

No matter which input I use (Wifi, Bluetooth, optical) the audio even at 100% volume is very low and quiet, in particular for outdoor speakers. After various attempts I ordered another amplifier https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CYQ1B598 and this amplifier is really loud and exactly what I'm looking for. Since this amplifier works much better, there isn't an issue with the cables nor the speakers. The reason for the too low volume is the WiiM Ultra.

Is there any way to increase beyond 100%? In the settings I already set the "Line Out Level" to 2 Vrms, which is the highest setting. Did I buy the wrong device for passive speakers?

Beyond the volume I really like the WiiM Ultra and would like to keep it, but I need a solution for the too quiet audio.

Thanks for the quick response. On Amazon it was sold as "WiiM Ultra Music Streamer & Digital Preamp" when I was looking for an amplifier. I guess I learnt the difference between an amplifier and Preamp the hard way.

Have a look at the comparison at the bottom of the page:

There is also the new WiiM Amp Ultra which is similar to the streaming Ultra but with its own amp.

I saw this new device today and it made me suspicious that I made a mistake. Thankfully, I can still return mine, but the new device is quite expensive.
