What are you listening to?

May be thats absolutely nonsense 😉 but I enjoy music more when I have a bit of work with it before. Grabbing an LP, preparing the turntable or simply take a CD and place it in the player makes me, how to write....more sensitive for the music? Have to say, I never ever have any background music. That is also valid for driving, only news and traffic news. Ok, different as soon is my wife in the car...😉
Totally agree more so with the vinyl part I love a good vinyl night ❤️😊

Yes, I for one have to admit that I don't miss the “ceremony” of putting on a record or inserting a CD.
However, I still take the time to “listen” to music intensively. The best way to do this is in front of the sound system at home or lost in thought with headphones. However, I can also enjoy it very well while driving. All music has its own special mood... it just has to be of good quality 🎸

My acceptance style is based mainly on 'if I'm not hooked in the first 30-40 secs, then it's a no go 😋'. Just can't get into " it grows on you" or give it a few more listens mode. Plus, I hardly ever use repeat (except for Ry Cooder's Dark Side of the Street 😁).
The music is fine just the questionable mastering etc
