Steve Vai: "Vai/Gash was written and recorded in 1991 in a kind of stream of consciousness in maybe two weeks, in response to my desire to listen to a certain kind of music when I was riding my Harley Davison motorcycle with my friends. One of those friends was John 'Gash' Sombrotto, who is the powerful vocalist on this record. It reminds me of a certain kind of rock music I enjoyed as a teenager in the 1970s. These recordings have been sitting on the shelf for over 30 years and are now being released in 2023.”

Yes, I would certainly like to listen to more of their albums.

I have been starting with one album, and then playing an album from a similar artist, and then another, and seeing where I end up. It’s quite a good way to discover new artists who are similar to those that you are familiar with.
