What are you listening to?

A couple of their more recent albums, great heavy metal to blow away the cobwebs...

(hard to track down on Amazon Music HD - for this album only the band is classified as Tygers of Pang Tang !)

Easier on Qobuz 😜
I considered joining Qobuz as an option if my Son-In-Law wouldn't continue with our Amazon Music HD shared subscription.

However a good friend has Qobuz & finds that although I seem able to access literally any album, when we are together and I make a recommendation, he sometimes gets a more limited selection with some artists.

Edit: If the current Amazon family plan ends then I would probably still swap to Qobuz as it is more 'audiophile' and has a better interface too.

Really not had that issue yet only use Qobuz now

This WiiM forum thread is stretching the amount of music I have to listen to way beyond what I already own . However, considering the volume of LPs and CDs I have, I doubt I will struggle to find stuff to play even if I cease streaming before I croak.

Subsignal - The Beacons Of Somewhere Sometime

German progressive rock band, I discovered this band listening to and buying the 'A Poetry Of Rain' LP a couple of years ago & then streaming 'La Muerta' both of which I like. Listening to this tonight, it is heavier in places with great vocal harmony & excellent guitar work.

A review of the band from elsewhere sums them up for me..."A slice of superb modern prog from these german talents. So much melody, songcraft and musicianship, highly accessible if the word 'prog' puts anyone off. They deserve to be better known".
