I agree with you whole-heartedly. I remember the day it came out, taking it home and being completely bowled over by the arrangements and the lyrics.

I was teaching a course in biological psychology at the time. Each year finished with a final exam, and that year one of the essay questions I set on hemispheric dominance was:

'They say the left side of the brain controls the right' (Paul Simon). Discuss.

Sadly, only a few students attempted an answer. I wonder how many of them went on to buy the album?
